Big news! Today, after two years, we’re releasing an updated brand identity, which includes a new logo, colors, font, and a trade name. You’ll see the new look anywhere we’re out in public, like our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and even Tumblr; very soon you’ll see it in all of our products, as well. We believe the new look better matches what we’ve become since 2015: a thoughtful team that is creative, artsy, feminist, and free.
Our design goal was to better match how we look to our values and the users we serve. A small team inside the company worked to find something that appeared crisp, approachable, smart, friendly, and connected. We think we did a great job, didn't we?
The inverted “k” of the logo, quite obviously, represents the company name, but it’s stylized with a "check" to appear friendly, and even slightly human. Our decision to use a dot in the "o" was inspired by our focus on our mission and goals, and also coffee. It is not quite a bean, but a solid target - to reach all women in the coffee industry and beyond.
Along with our redesigned website, our monthly newsletter will also get a makeover – expect to see its new look in the coming weeks. Not signed up yet? Subscribe here.
We hope you like this new look and feel for Skrupulous! Look out for more updates—like an updated look in our product and a brand-new website—as we continue to try to better serve our friends and customers with delicious coffee and clean, modern merch.
